About Us

With over 30 yrs. of combined experience in the construction industry, Thomas Leighton and Janine Davis of Cobra Custom Builders have the knowledge and expertise to build the home or business of your dreams.

Thomas has held a Certified Builders license and a Master Plumbers License and was the owner of a successful construction and plumbing company for many years under the business name: Cobra Construction and Plumbing.

Janine obtained her Certified Builders license in 2006 and has excelled in nearly every facet of the construction industry. She began her career in 2001 working as a salesperson for Thomas. Immediately showing the aptitude for managing jobs in the field Thomas put her in charge of overseeing most of his construction projects. Witnessing her proficiency at handling so many areas of the business Thomas encouraged her to take the test to get her Certified Builders License.

After a brief shutdown during the housing crisis Thomas and Janine sat down and decided to go back into business as a joint venture and in 2016 Cobra Custom Builders LLC was established.

For the last 30+ years Tom and Janine have succeeded in building a reputation as one of Hernando Counties top building contractors. They work extremely hard making sure your construction projects are built right, on time and on budget. They take the worry out and make the process as fun and stress free as possible.
